Sorry to hear about this problem. I will do some research today and see what I can find out regarding RSS and Chrome.

Found this link. Apparently Chrome is a little buggy with RSS feeds. Supposedly, there are extensions for Chrome RSS at this location. Hope there is something there to assist.
