Travel Smart – Travel Light
by admin on Nov.04, 2011, under Travel Shopping
Last year I read an article somewhere about holiday travelers using FedEx or UPS to send their travel gear on ahead of them to wherever they were headed. Since air travel has become so expensive and fees are always lurking, this seems an even better idea this year.
But what about pre-ordering gifts and having them delivered to your intended recipients as well?
If I was heading home to family this holiday season I might just send them a nice gift basket – that arrives the same time I do – and without me having to worry about wrapping, carrying, or losing said gift. So, for the next 3 weeks before Thanksgiving and the next 8 weeks before Christmas, there will be one exceptional gift basket choice “revealed” each Friday.

Since this first basket has both coffee and chocolate – two of my favorite things – no one will be surprised to receive it as a gift – nor will they be surprised that I show up right after it is delivered!
This gift basket contains:
~ Dragees Pecou Chocolate Olives
~ Dragess Pecou Chocolate Marshmallows
~ Bisuiterie de Provence Chocolate Almond Cake
~ Voisin Papillotes
~ 2 different kinds of cookies
~ Carte Noire Coffee from France
YUMMY! You can set up an account, place your order, and have this gift basket shipped to your chosen destination.

We are doing this when we travel back home for the holidays. At the end of the day they still get the surprise of opening a box and I am not paying an extra $100 in baggage fees.
