It sounds as if air carriers at Chicago’s O’Hare airport are going out of their way to ensure you have delays and other travel worries this Summer.

If you have flights planned with United or American heading through Chicago – word to the wise – the airport is basically being booked for flights to-the-second, without built-in lag time even for bad weather.

Apparently they think their time (and profit) is more important than your time…very frustrating…

And they wonder why air travel is down, as reported yesterday…

American Airlines wants you to pay 8 bucks for your blankey…

I figure before long they will shut off all oxygen to the cabin and force you to breathe via a mask. As long as you are willing to pay extra for oxygen, and a “small fee” for the mask, you can still fly…

They should be going out of their way to provide these minor things that cost them almost nothing since they buy in bulk. Instead, corporate greed focuses on making you pay for things like a blanket – for which they might pay $1.

Tough and continuing uncomfortable news for a travel web site…maybe I should go into the blanket business…I hear there is much money to be made.
