American Airlines wants you to pay 8 bucks for your blankey…
I figure before long they will shut off all oxygen to the cabin and force you to breathe via a mask. As long as you are willing to pay extra for oxygen, and a “small fee” for the mask, you can still fly…
They should be going out of their way to provide these minor things that cost them almost nothing since they buy in bulk. Instead, corporate greed focuses on making you pay for things like a blanket – for which they might pay $1.
Tough and continuing uncomfortable news for a travel web site…maybe I should go into the blanket business…I hear there is much money to be made.
Worldwide flights – going down…

According to Airport Council International, worldwide flight traffic fell nearly 3% last year.
Ridiculous fees, traveler inconveniences, and recent news about airplane hardware instability…is anyone surprised?
Those who can always afford to fly will continue, those who might have been considering, have many reasons not to. The industry, trying to lessen their costs, have to find a better way than gouging travelers on transportation fees…this is not a new industry and it’s expenses are volume-based. Why are we still paying so much?
